So here we are on the west coast of the United States, at least some of us are. We are seeing Bobo Tea shops popping up all over the place. Apparently on the east coast of the US Bubble Tea shops are popping up all over the place. Is there a difference? The answer is NO. It is terminology based on region. Both have tapioca balls at the bottom of the tea glass.  Both are iced tea drinks.

Apparently, Cheese Tea is the latest, greatest thing with people standing in line, sometimes for hours to place an order that may take up to 5 minutes to create.  Few tea shops serve this brew in the United States at this time but the ‘times they are a-changin’.  Originating in Taiwan back in 2010, this fad has taken China and Malaysia by storm and appears to have developed a cult following.
