Faith – Recording Artist, Pro Wrestler, Creator
FJ: What was your key driving force to become an entrepreneur?
Faith: Since I was a little girl, I’ve always planned on being my own boss. Though I didn’t know the term “entrepreneur” at 4 years old, I knew the meaning and I knew that my passions in entertainment, fighting and writing were my paths.
FJ: What was your key driving force to become an entrepreneur?
Faith: I highly believe that everything happens for a reason. My parents put me in Tae Kwon Do, acting class and dance class when I was little. I’ve loved them ever since and I just knew that this was for me. It was an easy decision. This or college? Definitely this. Though it does take a lot of hard work, I’m willing to work my hardest to get where I want to be.
FJ: What have you learned about being an entrepreneur?
Faith: The most interesting discovery overall is that you have to have thick skin and you have to be okay with failure. Not everybody’s going to like you. Not everything you thought would happen will happen. But everything that does or doesn’t happen, is exactly how it’s supposed to be. With feeding your focus and starving your distractions, your bound to get where you want to be. No matter what anyone thinks or tells you, remain unbothered and keep doing you!
FJ: What is your main goal?
Faith: My main goal is to inspire others they can do and be whoever they want. That there are no limits and to color outside the lines. For myself, I hope to one day star is action films, get the WOW Championship Belt, release tons of my music, and tour the world. I want to put smiles on people’s faces.
FJ: Why do you continue to create?
Faith: I create because it’s my therapy. Anything I go through in life motivates my creative brain to make that experience into something. Whether it’s a happy, sad or angry emotion, I can make it into music, a book, emotion behind my wrestling and/or dance. I couldn’t imagine life without the ability to express and create.
FJ: What challenges have you encountered?
Faith: I’ve encountered A LOT of rejection in the entertainment industry. I’d always get the “you’re too tall, too curvy, die your hair, you’ll never be the hot girl…” etc. But my parents have raised me with the mentality of humble confidence. Take the criticism and move on to the next opportunity. When one door closes, a bigger and better one opens. Blood, sweat and tears have gone into my craft. But because it’s my passion, all of the struggles will one day be worth it. Never give up. If you fall 7 times, stand up 8.
FJ: What is next for you? What are you working on now?
Faith: The next step for me is to continue training for my next wrestling matches in September and start releasing brand new music! Further info will be announced in my social media platforms very soon. @RealFaithMusic
FJ: What thoughts would you give to others who have similar aspirations?
Faith: The biggest advice I have is to go with your intuition. Listen to your inner self and don’t allow negativity get under your skin. You are who you hang around so try to surround yourself with positive, like-minded people who motivate you and talk about ideas, not gossip about other people. Just when you feel like giving up, is when you should push even harder. It’s your test before you get to the next level.
FJ: Who inspires you?
Faith: A few people who inspire me are The Rock, Charlotte Flair, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Drake, and JLo.
FJ: How can readers discover more about you and your work?
Faith: Readers can discover more about my work just by staying tuned in and turning on the post notifications for my Instagram page – @RealFaithMusic as well as my wrestling IG page @wow_TheLioness
FJ: Any last thoughts for our Fat Jack’s readers?
Faith: Always stay true to who you are. People will try to break you down and change you, stay anchored to your morals and boundaries and always remember where you came from. Believe in yourself!! You can do anything you put your mind to. Thoughts are things. ?
